With the new facilities including a paint shop, the total production area has tripled since 1988

The maximum diameter for Slewing Rings is 2,900 mm

The enterprise Brück in Ensheim/Saarbrücken held a 50 percent stake in the equity of the IMO business group until March 2007

2001

IMO Antriebseinheit opens its own facility including an office building in the industrial park of Gremsdorf on the motorway A3

2002 

Expansion continues with new facilities for the dispatch department, production, assembly and paint shop

Slewing Rings are now manufactured and supplied in diameters up to 4,500 mm

Restructuring of IMO Industrie-Momentenlager Stoll & Russ GmbH in IMO Momentenlager GmbH

IMO is named one of  Bavaria's "Top 50" companies by the States Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology for creating new jobs

IMO increases its ability to supply Slewing Rings in diameters up to 5,200 mm

2005

For the second time, IMO achieved the award of  Bavaria's "Top 50" and is among the  500 fastest growing companies in Europe

2006

IMO is among ten thousand companies on place 107 on the ranking list  "Europe's 500" of the 500 fastest growing companies in Europe

2007

IMO supplies a Roller Slewing Ring of 5,200 mm and 20 t with rollers in diameters of 100 mm for a large excavator

For the third time, IMO achieves the award of  Bavaria's "Top 50"

For the third time, IMO is among  Europe's 500 and on rank 150 of the fastest growing companies in Europe

Restructuring of the company group. Formation of the companies IMO Momentenlager GmbH & Co. KG, IMO Antriebseinheit GmbH & Co. KG and IMO Energy GmbH & Co. KG. IMO Energy is the first enterprise worldwide who focuses on bearings for renewable energy

At midyear the IMO Group surpasses the magical number of 1,000 employees

IMO celebrates its 20-year anniversary with a big family day where 2,300 guests join the celebrations.

Federal Minister of Economics, Glos, visits the IMO Group on invitation of member of the Bundestag, Stefan Mueller and informs himself about the extraordinary growth of the company

One year after the reorganization, the IMO Group successfully passes the recertification audit of its "integrated management system" according to the international standard of ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and OHSAS 18001 (labour protection management)

The former Bavarian Prime Minister Guenther Beckstein visits the IMO Group

2010

The IMO Group is again expanding: Formation of the company IMO Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG. This new company within the IMO Group focuses on future-oriented environment technologies and solutions in the machine and plant manufacturing sector
