The IMO Group consists of the enterprises IMO Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG, IMO Antriebseinheit GmbH & Co. KG, IMO Energy GmbH & Co. KG, IMO Momentenlager GmbH & Co. KG and IMO Holding GmbH.

All companies are headquartered in Gremsdorf, in the  Nuremberg metropolitan region, in Southern Germany.

IMO Anlagenbau offers single- and dual-axis photovoltaic systems as well as solar street light facilities.

IMO Antriebseinheit specializes in the production of internationally-patented slew drives, ready-to-install systems consisting of slewing ring, drive, and sealed housing.

IMO Energy is one of the leading suppliers of blade, yaw, and single main bearings for wind turbines, as well as blade bearings for tidal stream systems. 

IMO Momentenlager manufactures ball and roller slewing rings to a diameter of 6,000 mm with state-of-the-art production equipment.

IMO Holding is available to the Group as a central service provider with departments such as Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Group Purchasing.

The IMO Group is a member of the  Bundesverband der Energie-Abnehmer e.V. (German Federal Association of Energy Consumers), the  IHK (International Chamber of Commerce), and the  Forschungsvereinigung Antriebstechnik (Research Union for Power Transmission).
