The following apprenticeships are available with us in the commercial and technical fields:

Specialist for metal technology (m / f / d) - assembly technology

You manufacture components manually and mechanically. In assembly, you mount groups of components using tools, devices and assembly equipment and then test their function.

What we expect:
At least an intermediate school leaving certificate with good results in crafting/technology, physics and mathematics. Technical understanding and manual skills round off your profile.

Start of training:
September 1st each year.

Duration of training:
Two years

Application information

Machine/plant operator (m/f/d)

During your training, you will focus on a production plant. You will learn how to set up the production machine, commission it, and operate it. Your tasks will also involve setting up and maintaining the plant.

You will acquire practical basic knowledge in the first three to four months in our training workshop. Later, you will learn about drilling, turning, gear cutting, hardening, assembly, and quality control in our production facilities.

What we expect:
At least a basic school leaving certificate with good results in craft/design/technology, physics, and math.
A careful way of working, manual dexterity, and an interest in technology.

Start of training:
September 1st each year.

Application information

Electronics engineer for automation engineering/operating technology (m/f/d)

You'll become a specialist in the setup of electrical plants. We'll teach you detailed knowledge about programming, installing, and maintaining production plants. Following an initial training period at our teaching workshop, you'll acquire practical knowledge in our specialist departments.

What we expect:
At least an intermediate school leaving certificate with good computing and English knowledge. A well developed sense of responsibility. Reliability, technical understanding, and manual dexterity.

Three and a half years

Mechatronics engineer (m/f/d)

You assemble machines from mechanical and electronic parts, put them into operation and install control software. Troubleshooting and maintenance are also part of your tasks. Training takes place in our training workspace and in the specialist departments.

What we expect:
At least an intermediate school-leaving certificate with good grades in mathematics, technology and physics. You are characterized by a careful way of working, technical understanding and manual skills.

IT specialist (m/f/d) with focus on system integration

During your training as an IT specialist for system integration, you will learn to plan, install, and configure complex IT systems
under expert instruction. Right from the start, you'll be included in the work of the IT department, learn the latest technologies, and deepen your expert knowledge through your own projects.

What we expect:
At least an intermediate school leaving certificate with good results in math and English as well as experience with computers and small networks. Fast comprehension skills and an ability to work in a team round off your profile.

You'll learn about the planning, organization, and execution of all processes that are required during goods receipt and shipping along with commercial activities in the shipping office. This includes precise product knowledge as well as the effective use of technical aids.

What we expect:
At least a basic school leaving certificate with good results in math, German, and English.
Practical skills, precision, a robust constitution, strength, and endurance.

In this apprenticeship position, you'll learn about the planning, organization, and execution of all processes that are required during goods receipt and shipping. This includes precise product knowledge as well as the effective use of technical aids.

Practical skills, precision, a robust constitution, strength, and endurance.

Industrial clerk (m/f/d)
with additional qualification as foreign language correspondent

During your training, we'll teach you a wide range of commercial know-how. During your time with us, you will move through various areas at the IMO Corporate Group such as Accounting, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Operation Scheduling, and Quality Control. In addition to qualifying as an industrial clerk, you'll obtain an additional qualification as a tested foreign language correspondent.

What we expect:
At least a vocational baccalaureate diploma with good results in math, German, English, and book-keeping. Enjoyment of the English language and sufficient motivation for the double qualification.
A sense of responsibility, independent way of working, and flexibility round off your profile.
